Kate graduated from RMIT as an Osteopath in 2001. In almost 20 years of
practice, she has gained a breadth of experience working with people of all
ages in large and small practices from the inner city to rural towns.

Kate is renewed and challenged by her work educating student osteopaths
at Victoria University. ‘Being involved in education keeps me thinking and
helps me stay up to date with changes in health care.’

In her practice, Kate uses a wide variety of techniques such as stretching and massage along with mobilisation of specific joints and soft tissues. These techniques can be used to treat a range of musculo-skeletal problems, including back and neck pain, headaches, joint and muscle pain and injuries arising from work and sports. Kate takes a holistic view of health care using hands-on techniques to assist in the treatment of specific complaints and to enhance general health.   ‘My emphasis is on the essential link between the structure of the body and the way we function.’
